Interior Amenities ** Kitchen: Fully equipped with an oven, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine for all your cooking needs. ** Living Area: Includes a dining table for four, a TV (with cable), and high-speed Wi-Fi. ** Bedrooms: Two small, air-conditioned bedrooms designed for restful comfort. The twin beds can be put together to form a queen bed. **** A third small bedroom suitable only for a child and a baby in a crib (bed less than 180cm long), not suitable for teens or adults). ** Bathroom: Compact but functional ** Terrace: A covered outdoor space with a larger dining table and a cozy lounge area to enjoy the view. Outdoor Amenities ** Shared Facilities: Includes a barbecue area, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. ** Safe Parking: Parking is available for one car per apartment. Additional vehicles can park in the nearby beach parking area, conveniently located opposite the property. Beach & Lagoon The sandy beach is ideal for morning and evening strolls, as well as safe playtime for children. The lagoon’s calm waters make it perfect for swimming, and a natural rock pool on the right side of the beach provides a shallow, protected area for young families to enjoy. For added safety, beach access can be closed off with a small gate. The whole apartment in the first floor (must climb stairs). Parking for a small car in the garden. Also free parking space available a few metres away on the public beach parking. It has a shared garden with direct access to the beach and the sea. We are a small team at your disposal should you need any help or information. During your stay: I am always available for my guests though we are a small team to help you out. They are : Laure and Nathalie who looks after the guest relations and will be greeting you. Yajna and Yannick may also welcome guests occasionally. Marie Ange services the apartment daily except on week ends and public holidays from 9ish to 3p.m. Grand-Gaube is an authentic fishing village in the North of Mauritius. It is the perfect place for those wishing to be away from the touristy, but crowded village of Grand-Baie and being only 15-20 minutes by car from it. It has a vast lagoon ideal for kitesurfing aficionados and water-sports enthusiasts. I highly recommend walks along the beautiful stretch of beach in the morning or at sunset, as this is when the light is best to appreciate the scenery (and to capture those amazing photographs). There is a kite-surfing school (for beginners to more advanced) less than a minute walk away from the bungalow. Within walking distance, you will find local supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bus-stop. There are only few restaurants from two hotels nearby in Grand Gaube. Renting a car is thus highly recommended. In Calodyne, 05 - 10 mins by car, you will find a supermarket (Intermart), a butcher, a pastry shop as well as a fruits & vegetables market. Several restaurants, shops and hypermarkets are available within 20 minutes drive in Grand Baie. The capital, Port-Louis, is a 45 minute drive from the bungalow (avoiding peak hours ). Having a car is essential. It is strongly recommended to rent a car as you will need transportation for grocery shopping, visiting the island or going to restaurants.
